One Year on...

Me completed 1 year in Shell this June. It had been quite a change from Schlumberger, not only in terms of moving from Service sector to Client side but also moving Upstream Oil Industry to Downstream.
Experience till now has been quite good. Though work culture and work itself is totally different from Schlumberger but there's one similarity which was very rightly point out by my boss here and I tend to agree with him (in my own interest :P). He says that in jobs like this you may not enhance your technical knowledge but you develop lots of skills which can be learnt in any school :-), kinda gives feel good factor.
